Walter Fields: East Village Artist

After 15 years of running a store-front art studio , the Jacklight Gallery on East 7th Street,Walter Feilds is moving on. Many who are familiar with Walter's work, will reminisce at the life of this dim lit gallery; with its many transportive landscapes, and satirical portraits .

Many times i would walk by, stoping to look at the paintings. If any one was with me they would catch the intrigue of this obscure East Village spot, too. Walter has funny political
slogans hanging in the window, printed signs such as "Mcean and Abel". keeping his slogans freshly flowing with the mind of the media at large.

If you would like to know more about Walter Field's paintings, he has a web site.
